What is Haiku? Haiku , is a type of short form poetry that originated in Japan, and can be traced back from the influence of traditional Chinese poetry. Traditional Japanese haiku consist of three phrases composed of 17 phonetic units in a 5- 7- 5 pattern that include a "cutting word" and a seasonal reference. हाइकु, एक प्रकारको छोटो कविता हो जुन जापानमा उत्पत्ति भएको हो, र परम्परागत चिनियाँ कविताको प्रभावबाट पत्ता लगाउन सकिन्छ। परम्परागत जापानी हाइकुमा 5- 7-5 ढाँचामा 17 ध्वन्यात्मक एकाइहरू मिलेर बनेको तीन वाक्यांशहरू हुन्छन् जसमा "कटिङ शब्द" र मौसमी सन्दर्भ समावेश हुन्छ। Haiku generally do not rhyme.
